  • The 2025 Emirates NBA Cup will have its own dedicated standings page!

For the second straight year, the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup will have standings that are entirely based on the four Group Play games that each NBA team will play this summer. I am excited to see where we go in Year 2! The goal is to make this page better with every passing year.

As a reminder, the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup will have all 30 NBA teams randomly drawn into three groups of five based in their own conference based on their individual 2024 regular season performances.

Group Play games in the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup will occur on designated "Cup Nights" on Tuesday (June 24, July 1, July 8 & July 15) and Friday evenings (June 27, July 4 & July 11) from late June through mid July with each team playing the other four teams in their respective groups. The single-elimination Knockout Round stage starts with the Quarterfinals on Tuesday, July 22 and Wednesday, July 23 in NBA team markets, followed by the Semifinals and Championship Game at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada for the second consecutive season.

Like last season's in-season tournament event, the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup will have two stages: Group Play for all 30 NBA teams and the Knockout Rounds for the eight teams that advance out of Group Play (the three group winners and one wild card in each conference).

The 22 teams that do not qualify for the Knockout Rounds will be given two extra regular season games (one home game & one road game) that will be played on Thursday, July 24 or Friday, July 25 and Sunday, July 27 or Monday, July 28. The losing teams in the Quarterfinals in each conference will play each other in a regular season game on Thursday, July 24, Friday, July 25, Sunday, July 27 or Wednesday, July 28.
