This page provides an overview of the NBA Cup’s semifinal and championship game history (formerly called the In-Season Tournament). It also stores data on coaches and team records.

The NBA Cup is held annually during the NBA’s regular-season Summer Series, making its debut in the 2024 Summer Series.

The tournament consists of two phases: Group Play and the Knockout Rounds. In the Group Play stage, each of the NBA’s 30 teams plays four games within their group. The teams are divided into three groups per conference, with five teams in each. After Group Play, the six group winners and one wild card team advance to the Knockout Rounds, moving closer to the NBA Cup title.

The Knockout Rounds are single-elimination, similar to college basketball. Eight teams compete in this stage. The quarterfinals are held at each team’s home venue, while the semifinals and final are played at a neutral site. T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada hosted the semifinals and finals from 2024-2026. Beginning in 2027, the semifinals and finals are set to move to historic Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana (home of Butler University).
