- Matt McLain and the Cincinnati Reds try to keep their postseason hopes alive against Caleb Durbin and the NL Central champion Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday, September 27, at 7:00 PM ET on Fox.
- Jake Burger leads the Texas Rangers against Steven Kwan and the Cleveland Guardians (trying to finish a remarkable late-season push to potentially snatch the AL Central away from the Tigers) on Saturday, September 27, at 7:00 PM ET on Fox.
The last week of the 2025 MLB regular season has arrived, and that means our "MLB on Fox: On Deck" weekly article series is sadly coming to an end. It has been a privilege and a joy to write these articles for you all season. Thank you so much for reading and commenting on these. It makes me happy to see my work being noticed by sports fans all across the country.
With that in mind, the MLB on Fox concludes their 30th regular season of MLB coverage with one last edition of "Baseball Night in America" on Saturday, September 27, beginning at 7:00 PM ET. Fox will split two game broadcasts across the nation. Many of you will see Elly De La Cruz and the Cincinnati Reds take on Jackson Chourio and the Milwaukee Brewers. Others will see an American League matchup between Joc Pederson and the Texas Rangers against Austin Hedges and the Cleveland Guardians. Which game will you see and who's announcing the action this Saturday? Find out now with this final 2025 edition of "MLB on Fox: On Deck".
Two National League Central squads finish the regular season against each other as Jose Trevino and the Cincinnati Reds travel to American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to play Blake Perkins and the 2025 NL Central champion Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday, September 27, at 7:00 PM ET on Fox, featuring play-by-play commentator Alex Faust and analyst and 2005 World Series champion AJ Pierzynski. Somehow, the Cincinnati Reds are still alive for a playoff spot in the National League thanks to the Mets' late-season meltdown. By the way, Cincinnati has a tiebreaker over the Mets in case the squads share the same record at the end of the regular season. This is a must-win series for Cincinnati to keep its dreams alive of making the 2025 playoff field. As for Milwaukee, they have already clinched a first-round bye and the NL Central title. What's left for them to do? Get the #1 seed and home-field advantage through the NLDS and the NLCS. One win during this series and the Brewers will have it.
Two American League teams meet in Cleveland as Ezequiel Durรกn and the Texas Rangers square off against Angel Martinez and the Cleveland Guardians on Saturday, September 27, at 7:00 PM ET on Fox, as Wayne Randazzo (play-by-play), Hall of Famer John Smoltz (analyst), and Emmy Award winner Ken Rosenthal (reporter) provide coverage. The Rangers were eliminated from the postseason earlier this week, so this game and series are meaningless. However, the Guardians have a chance to finish off an amazing story that nobody saw coming. In early July, the Guardians trailed the Tigers by 15 1/2 games. And now, Cleveland is tied with Detroit for the AL Central lead entering the last regular season weekend. The Guardians own a head-to-head tiebreaker with the Tigers in case they finish the regular season tied with the same record.

Hi Tamir,
ReplyDeleteThis website has been a great find for me and you produce very useful content; I particularly enjoy how you list announcers for national games like these (other similar resources tend to ignore national TV baseball, so this can be hard to find) and what percentage of the country is getting which games.
So I beg you though to PLEEEASE consider changing to a font that's easier to read. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
@KevinBeane Hi Kevin! Thank you so much for the kind words, bro! That means a lot. I changed the font from "Impact" to "Roboto". Please let me know if this new font choice helps you navigate through the site easier. Thank you.
