  1. Why are they trying to figure out whether to put the SD State- NM game at 1pm or 2pm?

    1. @Mark T. Mark, I do not even know why. CBS isn't airing a playoff game until Sunday afternoon (Steelers/Bills, 1 PM ET). There was NO conflict with the NFL Playoffs whatsoever on Saturday (since NBC/Peacock is airing the CLE/HOU and MIA/KC Wild Card Games).

I have updated the starting time of this game. San Diego State/New Mexico men's CBB action will start at 2 PM ET / 12 PM MT.

Also, no golf is slated for this weekend on CBS, so that cannot be a reason why CBS didn't set a time for this one right away.

      Very strange one.

    1. @Mark T. Thanks bro. I just came back in from a Saturday outside, so I appreciate that! Saw it, but didn't put it in until now.

    1. @Mark T. Mark, actually I'm wrong. Damnit! Chris Walker previously called an Oklahoma State/Oklahoma game with Tom McCarthy on CBS back in 2022. So, this is like Chris Walker's second or third appearance on the CBS television network (although Walker calls plenty of games for CBS Sports Network).

  4. What did they do with Washington-Arizona when Houston-Baylor went long?

    1. @Mark T. Mark, Washington-Arizona started on CBSSports.com everywhere except for Tucson (where Arizona is located) due to Houston/Baylor running long, and CBS joined the game in progress later on.

    2. Why couldn't they put it on CBS sports network?

    3. @Mark T. CBS Sports Network had a game on (North Dakota/North Dakota State) during that same time (2 PM ET this past Saturday), so obviously that wasn't an option. So it was basically CBSSports.com or nothing.
