ESPN and ABC will continue their coverage of the 2024 Summer Series season with 13 live games this week, during the third week of the regular season. 

This week's schedule consists of a quintet of games on Wednesday split between ABC and ESPN, a single game on Thursday night, a In-Season Tournament doubleheader on Friday (ESPN), this week's NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC game & a quadruple header of Sunday action, with two ABC Sunday Showcase games followed by two games on ESPN that night.

NBA Wednesday (Wednesday, June 5)
The NBA Countdown presented by Chime pregame show leads off Wednesday's coverage at 11:00 AM (ET) on ABC, with host Miles Johnson (filling in for regular host Malika Andrews, who is OUT on assignment), ESPN NBA analysts Austin Rivers, Danny Green, Tristan Thompson and special guest ESPN NBA "insider"/reporter Kerith Burke (filling in for Ramona Shelburne, who is out due to personal reasons). Johnson, Rivers, Green, Thompson & Burke will later return for a second edition of Countdown at 7:00 PM (ET) on ESPN, previewing the Spurs vs. Knicks and the Warriors vs. Nuggets game.

Wednesday's game coverage begins at 12:00 PM (ET) on ABC when Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics visit reigning MVP Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers in an Atlantic Division showdown. Plus, this matchup is a re-match of the 2023 Eastern Conference Semifinals, a series in which Boston outlasted Philadelphia in seven games. Grayson Singleton will provide commentary with three-time WNBA champion Candace Parker, special guest analyst LaChina Robinson and reporter Jorge Sedano.

Wednesday's action continues at 2:30 PM (ET) on ABC as D'Angelo Russell and the Los Angeles Lakers face off with Jabari Smith Jr. and the Houston Rockets. Dane Richardson will call the game with analyst CJ McCollum and reporter Derryl Barnes, who was recently named the 2024 Jim Nantz Award winner.

Wednesday's ABC tripleheader will conclude at 5:00 PM (ET) when Jerami Grant and the Portland Trail Blazers battle De'Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings. The game will have David Moskowitz, analyst and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Doris Burke and reporter Lauren Jbara on the call.

Coverage for Wednesday's games will shift to ESPN at 7:30 PM (ET) when the San Antonio Spurs take on the New York Knicks from historic Madison Square Garden. 2023 NBA Draft #1 pick Victor Wembanyama is set to shine at the World's Most Famous Arena for the very first time in his career. As previously mentioned, two-time NBA champion Danny Ainge joins the broadcast team for this game, alongside play-by-play commentator Curtis Stockley and reporter Isaiah Walker.

Wednesday's ESPN doubleheader will wrap up at 10:00 PM (ET) with an intriguing matchup. Four-time champion Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors take their talents to the Mile High City for a meeting with two-time MVP Nikola Jokić and the Denver Nuggets. This matchup features the last two champions in the Summer Series -- Golden State in 2022 & Denver in 2023. Teagan Brown provides play-by-play commentary, joined by analyst and 2016 National Champion Kris Jenkins and reporter Charmaine Malone.

- NBA Thursday (Thursday, June 6)
NBA Countdown presented by Chime leads off Thursday's pregame coverage at 6:30 PM (ET) on ESPN, featuring host Sam Prince, alongside ESPN NBA analysts Skylar Diggins-Smith, Shaquille O'Neal, Jamal Crawford and ESPN NBA Insider Kendra Andrews.

At 7:00 PM (ET) on ESPN, Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks duel with Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers as two Central Division teams face off at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Dave Pasch is on the play-by-play duties, with analyst and Hall of Famer Reggie Miller joining him at the broadcast table. Longtime reporter Michele Tayofa reports from the sidelines.

NBA Friday -- In-Season Tournament (Friday, June 7)
The In-Season Tournament continues on Friday, with NBA Countdown presented by Chime setting the table for the night's basketball activities at 7:00 PM (ET) on ESPN, with Miles Johnson serving as the anchor, alongside three-time champion Danny Green, Austin Rivers, 2016 NBA champion Tristan Thompson and Kerith Burke.

Friday's In-Season Tournament ESPN doubleheader begins at 7:30 PM (ET) when Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics host Mikal Bridges and the Brooklyn Nets in a matchup of East Group C teams. The broadcast team of David Moskowitz, Breanna Stewart, Kris Jenkins and Susan Reutter will describe the action.

Following that game, at 10:00 PM (ET) on ESPN, two of the game's most recognizable faces today square off as LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers match up with Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns in a meeting of two teams from West Group A. The NBA Finals team of Curtis Stockley, Jermaine Samuels, Justin Moore and, Michelle Kuc will provide commentary for this In-Season Tournament contest.

NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC (Saturday, June 8)
The Saturday, June 8 edition of NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC has a Eastern Conference showdown from Kia Center in Orlando, Florida (the first Saturday Primetime game in Orlando since 2010), as Khris Middleton and the Milwaukee Bucks travel to play 2023 Rookie of the Year Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic at 8:30 PM (ET) on ABC. Grayson Singleton will detail the game's play-by-play with analyst and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Doris Burke and reporter Isaiah Walker.

NBA Countdown presented by Chime will lead into NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC at 8:00 PM (ET), featuring the studio team of host Miles Johnson, analyst Damian Dunn, analyst Diamond Miller, two-time NBA All-Star Tyrese Haliburton, and insider Chris Haynes. The crew will return later in the night to provide postgame analysis of Bucks-Magic and Saturday's other contests on the NBA: After the Buzzer presented by Target postgame show, beginning at 11:00 PM (ET) on ABC.

ABC Sunday Showcase & NBA Sunday on ESPN (Sunday, June 9)
ABC's Sunday Showcase doubleheader starts off at 12:30 PM (ET) with NBA Countdown presented by Chime. Miles Johnson will host the program, joined in the studio by analysts Tyrese Haliburton, Damian Dunn and Diamond Miller, with insider Chris Haynes rounding out the cast. The team returns for a second edition of NBA Countdown at 7:00 PM (ET) on ESPN, previewing the Mavericks vs. Pelicans and Timberwolves vs. Warriors games.

Game coverage tips off at 1:00 PM (ET) on ABC as Mark Williams and the Charlotte Hornets face off against Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks. David Moskowitz handles play-by-play, Justin Moore provides game analysis and Michelle Kuc reports from the sidelines. Officiating expert Steve Javie joins the broadcast.

Sunday's ABC doubleheader continues at 3:30 PM (ET), when Deandre Ayton and the Portland Trail Blazers go up against Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers, with lead play-by-play commentator Curtis Stockley, analyst Jermaine Samuels and reporter Susan Reutter describing the action.

Game coverage then shifts over to ESPN for the primetime session, starting at 7:30 PM (ET). The exciting and entertaining star Luka Dončić leads his Dallas Mavericks into a Western Conference battle against CJ McCollum and the New Orleans Pelicans. Teagan Brown is joined by two special guests in the booth to provide the game analysis, first-time All-Star Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey and four-time champion Andre Iguodala, with Jorge Sedano reporting from the sidelines.

The ESPN doubleheader then heads to San Francisco where Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves play Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors, starting at 10:00 PM (ET). Current Timberwolves play-by-play commentator Michael Grady gets the national play-by-play call for this contest. Grady will be joined by a pair of NBA champions as analysts: 2020 NBA champion and current Lakers PF/C Anthony Davis and 2021 NBA champion and current Celtics G Jrue Holiday.
