The dog days of summer persist, and the NBA: Summer Series offers a front-row view of some of the season’s biggest matchups, including the third annual “Summer Showcase”! Welcome to Week #10 of the 2026 NBA: Summer Series regular season. This week is especially exciting because of the Summer Series’ annual summer event, Summer Showcase, scheduled for Thursday afternoon and evening, featuring top NBA stars ⭐ and compelling matchups. A total of 19 national games are scheduled for broadcast this week via over-the-air TV, streaming, or cable.
ABC will broadcast 11 regular-season games this week, while NBC, Peacock, and NBCSN combine for 6 games. Additionally, Prime Video will air a Friday night doubleheader featuring 76ers vs. Bulls (8:00 PM ET) and Clippers vs. Trail Blazers (10:30 PM ET).

The Week 10 national NBA Summer Series regular season schedule begins with a Peacock NBA Monday doubleheader on Monday, August 17. The highlight of Monday’s coverage is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder (24-2) hosting Jaylen Wells and the Memphis Grizzlies (13-15) on Monday, August 17 at 9:30 PM ET on Peacock and NBCSN.
⯈ Hornets (9-19) vs. Cavaliers (15-14) — Monday, 7:00 PM ET on Peacock and NBCSN:
LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets (9-19) face Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers (15-14), featuring “On The Bench” analysis on Monday, August 17 at 7:00 PM ET on Peacock and NBCSN. Hornets rookie forward Kon Knueppel is already making an impact in Year 1, hitting 99 triples thus far on the season and consistently near the top of the Kia Rookie Leader (alongside Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg). Cleveland looks to right the ship following a poor 1-4 record over their last five games.
NBC Sports’ Michael Grady (play-by-play) will call Hornets-Cavaliers, alongside game analysts Robbie Hummel (Hornets) and Austin Rivers (Cavaliers). Hummel will be dedicated to the Hornets, while Rivers is assigned to the Cavaliers.
Hornets-Cavaliers is set to have “On The Bench” coverage, NBC Sports’ newest production innovation that allows each of the game analysts to be assigned to a specific game to gain insight and knowledge that then can be shared and distributed with a national audience.

Dariq Whitehead and the Memphis Grizzlies (13-15) battle 2025 Kia NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder (25-3) on Monday, August 17 at 9:30 PM ET on Peacock and NBCSN. Memphis has shown noticeable improvement following a dismal 4-11 start, posting a good 9-4 record over their last 13 games. As for Oklahoma City, they registered an outstanding 16-game winning streak earlier this season.
