In fact, 16 games are scheduled throughout the week, including divisional matchups, cross-conference clashes, and star players trying to guide their respective teams to the postseason and/or the playoffs. Take a moment to prepare for the ride we are about to take.

Here is a summary of this week’s NBA Summer Series national broadcast schedule across its media portfolio:

✳ NBC/Peacock/NBCSN (7 games):
This week, NBC Sports presents extensive regular-season NBA coverage, featuring seven games across NBC, Peacock, and NBCSN. The highlight of the week will be the matchup between Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors and Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, September 21 at 9:30 PM ET (8:30 PM CT) on Peacock and NBCSN.

■  Peacock NBA Monday on Monday, September 21: Magic-Cavaliers, Trail Blazers-Celtics, Warriors-Timberwolves

On Monday, September 21, NBC Sports will broadcast a Peacock NBA Monday tripleheader on Peacock and NBCSN.

| ⯈ Magic (23-21) vs. Cavaliers (27-20) — Monday, 7:00 PM ET on Peacock & NBCSN:
2023 NBA Rookie of the Year Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic (23-21) visit NBA All-Star Evan Mobley and the Cleveland Cavaliers (27-20) in a pivotal Eastern Conference match for both sides on Monday, September 21 at 7:00 PM ET on NBCSN and Peacock. This is the second meeting in three days between these teams.

John Michael (play-by-play), the current television voice of the Cavaliers, joins Cavaliers great and five-time NBA All-Star Brad Daugherty (analyst) and Jordan Cornette (courtside reporter) to broadcast Magic-Cavaliers live from Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

Orlando (23-21) tries to snap a three-game losing streak with Monday’s game. The Magic hold the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference, meaning they would have to go through the Play-In Tournament if the season were to end today.

Cleveland (27-20), on the other hand, seeks their fourth consecutive win. Cleveland defeated Orlando, 119-105, on Saturday. Seven-time NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell is leading the charge, averaging a career-high 29.1 PPG. The Cavaliers hold a top-6 seed in the East and continue their push to make the NBA Playoffs. The Cavs search for their 11th win over the last 15 games.

| ⯈ Trail Blazers (23-23) vs. Celtics (28-17) — Monday, 8:00 PM ET on Peacock:
The second of the evening sees Shadeon Sharpe and the upstart Portland Trail Blazers (23-23) battle 2024 NBA Champion Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics (28-17) on Monday, September 21 at 8:00 PM ET on Peacock.

NBC Sports’ Noah Eagle (play-by-play), Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Grant Hill (analyst) & Ashley ShahAhmadi (courtside reporter) will call Trail Blazers-Celtics from TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Trail Blazers have won nine of their past 12 games, including a five-game winning streak. The Trail Blazers are fresh off a 110-98 loss to the Raptors on Friday night, despite Donovan Clingan grabbing 16 rebounds. Portland opens up a three-game road trip with Monday’s game in Boston.

As for Boston, Jaylen Brown is having a career season. Despite playing without Jayson Tatum (Achilles recovery), JB and the Celtics have found their way after an abysmal 0-3 start and currently sit second in the Eastern Conference. Brown (33 points) and the Celtics lost 114-111 to the Bulls on Sunday in Chicago. The Celtics currently lead the Atlantic Division, with the Knicks and Raptors in hot pursuit.

| ⯈ Warriors (26-21) vs. Timberwolves (27-19) — Monday, 9:30 PM ET (8:30 PM CT) on Peacock & NBCSN:
The final game of the evening as four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors (26-21) collide with four-time NBA All-Star Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves (27-19) on Monday, September 21 at 9:30 PM ET (8:30 PM CT) on NBCSN and Peacock. This marks the second matchup between these teams in three days, with Golden State claiming the win in their previous meeting on Saturday.

Michael Grady handles play-by-play for Warriors-Timberwolves, joined by “On the Bench” analysts Robbie Hummel (Warriors) and Austin Rivers (Timberwolves). Warriors-Timberwolves will feature “On the Bench” coverage, NBC Sports’ production innovation that dedicates one analyst to each team and positions that analyst courtside with their team, allowing for the analysts to be immersed in the action of their respective teams and delivering information straight from the bench.

Obviously, this game has massive postseason implications for both teams as they try to keep pace for a top-6 seed over in the Western Conference. Minnesota is tied with Phoenix for the No. 6 seed while Golden State sits 1.5 GB behind the Suns for the sixth spot.

Live coverage for Monday’s games begins at 6:30 PM ET on Peacock and NBCSN, with NBA Showtime presented by Wingstop, live from Target Center in Minneapolis, hosted by NBC Sports’ Ahmed Fareed alongside Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Chris Webber, Villanova legend Kris Jenkins, NBA veteran Jalen Rose, and four-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala. Following the games, NBA Showtime will wrap up the night beginning at 12:00 AM ET on Peacock and NBCSN.

■  Coast 2 Coast Tuesday on Tuesday, September 22: Bucks-76ers, Clippers-Jazz

This Tuesday, September 22, Coast 2 Coast Tuesday rolls on with a doubleheader on NBC and Peacock.

| ⯈ Bucks (19-26) vs. 76ers (24-21) — Tuesday, 7:30 PM ET on NBC & Peacock:
An Eastern Conference battle gets us started on Coast 2 Coast Tuesday when two-time NBA All-Star Tyrese Maxey and the Philadelphia 76ers (24-21) host 2021 NBA Champion Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks (19-26) on Tuesday, September 22 at 7:30 PM ET on NBC and Peacock.

Tuesday’s Bucks at 76ers game will be nationally televised by NBC and Peacock, with Mike Tirico (play-by-play), Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Reggie Miller (analyst) & Zora Stephenson (courtside reporter) on the call.

With six games remaining, Milwaukee faces an uphill climb if it wants to extend its NBA Playoffs streak to 10. Milwaukee (19-26) trails Atlanta (22-25) by two games for the final play-in berth in the Eastern Conference. Entering Tuesday, Milwaukee has dropped five of its last seven matchups.

Philadelphia is in much better shape to return to the postseason following a poor 24-58 season in 2025. Currently, the 76ers are in the mix for either a playoff berth or a play-in spot. The 76ers are led by the dynamic duo of Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.

| ⯈ Clippers (21-24) vs. Jazz (15-31) — Tuesday, 10:00 PM ET (8:00 PM MT) on NBC & Peacock:
John Collins and the Los Angeles Clippers (21-24) visit Isaiah Collier and the Utah Jazz (15-31) in the second half of the Coast 2 Coast Tuesday doubleheader on Tuesday, September 22 at 10:00 PM ET (8:00 PM MT) on NBC and Peacock.

NBC Sports’ Mark Followill (play-by-play) teams up with three-time Sixth Man of the Year winner Jamal Crawford (analyst) and Grant Liffmann (courtside reporter) to call Clippers-Jazz from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Following a terrible 6-21 start, the Clippers have completely turned their season around, going 15-3 over their last 18 games. During this time, the Clippers rank sixth in Defensive Rating, a 20-spot improvement from their standing before this current run. Additionally, LA is 5-0 in clutch games (games that feature a five-point lead or less with five minutes or fewer remaining). The Clippers have a firm grasp on a play-in spot in the Western Conference with two weeks remaining in the regular season.

Keyonte George and Lauri Markkanen try to help Utah keep their season alive, as a loss would eliminate Utah from playoff contention.

Live coverage for Tuesday’s games starts at 7:00 PM ET on NBC and Peacock, with an on-site edition of NBA Showtime presented by State Farm, live from Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia ahead of Bucks-76ers. NBC Sports’ Maria Taylor hosts the show, joined by Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter, and Tracy McGrady. After the Clippers-Jazz game, stay tuned for a postgame edition of NBA Showtime featuring the same studio talent, starting at 12:30 AM ET on NBC and Peacock.

■  Sunday Night Basketball on Sunday, September 27: Lakers-Knicks, Thunder-Nuggets

On Sunday, September 27, NBC Sports wraps up its first season of Sunday Night Basketball broadcasts with a marquee doubleheader on NBC and Peacock.

| ⯈ Lakers (29-18) vs. Knicks (30-18) — Sunday, 7:00 PM ET on NBC & Peacock:
An exciting matchup tips off this week’s Sunday Night Basketball doubleheader when LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers (29-18) clash with Karl-Anthony Towns and the New York Knicks (30-18) on Sunday, September 27 at 7:00 PM ET on NBC and Peacock. James is set to play in his 32nd career game at MSG, posting a 23-8 record in his previous 31 games at the World’s Most Famous Arena, while averaging 28.2 ppg, 7.0 reb, and 7.6 ast.

Veteran play-by-play commentator Bob Costas will call the Lakers-Knicks game, joined by two NBA legends in the broadcast booth. Representing the Lakers will be five-time NBA champion and Hall of Famer Magic Johnson. Representing the Knicks will be two-time champion and fellow Hall of Famer Walt “Clyde” Frazier. In fact, Frazier was part of the first Summer Series game in 1977, scoring 14 points in the Knicks’ eventual five-point win over the Lakers at Madison Square Garden.

Costas, Johnson, and Frazier will be joined on the sidelines by seasoned sportscasters Hannah Storm (Lakers) and Dan Hicks (Knicks).

| ⯈ Thunder (38-11) vs. Nuggets (33-17) — Sunday, 9:30 PM ET (7:30 PM MT) on NBC & Peacock:
The last two Kia NBA MVPs get together in the Mile High City as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the reigning NBA Summer Series champion Oklahoma City Thunder (38-11) face Nikola Jokić and the Denver Nuggets (33-17) on Sunday, September 27 at 9:30 PM ET (7:30 PM MT) on NBC and Peacock. This is a rematch of the 2025 Western Conference Semifinals, a series in which Oklahoma City won in seven games. The Nuggets won the regular-season series 3-1 last season before OKC got their revenge in the second round of the playoffs en route to the NBA championship.

Sunday’s Thunder-Nuggets game on NBC and Peacock features John Michael (play-by-play), Doug Collins (analyst), Mike Fratello (analyst), Angel Gray (courtside reporter), and Jim Gray (courtside reporter) on the television broadcast.

Live coverage for Sunday’s BNIA doubleheader begins at 6:00 PM ET on NBC and Peacock with Basketball Night in America presented by Wendy’s, live from Madison Square Garden in New York before Lakers-Knicks. Scott Graham will take the helm as host of the pregame show, accompanied by an esteemed lineup of Hall of Famers, including Doc Rivers, Chris Bosh, and Chamique Holdsclaw. Additionally, Bob Costas, Clyde Frazier, and Magic Johnson will appear in a pregame segment. Following the doubleheader, Graham, Rivers, Bosh, and Holdsclaw return for a late-night episode of NBA Showtime, live and direct from New York, starting at 12:00 AM ET on NBC and Peacock.
