The 2024 NBA: Summer Series preseason continues this week (Monday, May 6 - Sunday, May 12) with 16 live preseason game telecasts dispersed across ABC, ESPN and ESPN2.

The week's coverage begins on Monday, May 6, with a tripleheader on ABC and ESPN. The night will consist of NBA Countdown (two editions), the Celtics vs. Knicks game on ESPN, the Spurs vs. Thunder on ABC & ESPN, the Nets vs. Lakers game on ABC & ESPN & NBA: After the Buzzer.

Monday's coverage tips off at 5:00 PM ET on ESPN with NBA Countdown presented by DoorDash, hosted by Katie George, JJ Redick, Chiney Ogwumike, Kendrick Perkins & ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski. The team will return for a second edition of NBA Countdown at 7:30 PM ET on ABC to preview the Spurs vs. Thunder and Nets vs. Lakers games that will take place later that evening. The team will then wrap up Monday's coverage on the NBA: After the Buzzer presented by Wendy's postgame show at 1:00 AM ET on ESPN following the Nets vs. Lakers game.

Monday's game coverage begins at 5:30 PM ET on ESPN as Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics take on Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks. Dane Richardson, analyst Kris Jenkins & special guest analyst and 2003 NBA Champion Steve Smith will call the game, with Susan Reutter reporting from the sidelines.

Then, at 8:00 PM ET on ABC & ESPN, 2023 NBA Draft top overall pick Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs visit Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder. David Moskowitz, Jermaine Samuels & Michelle Kuc serve as the commentator team for this game.

Tuesday's ESPN doubleheader begins at 8:00 PM ET as Darius Garland and the Cleveland Cavaliers visit Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks. The team of Dave Pasch, analyst and two-time Executive of the Year Bob Myers, four-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala and reporter Cassidy Hubbarth will call the game.

Tuesday's ESPN doubleheader continues at 10:30 PM ET with a 2023 Western Conference Semifinals re-match as Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns host Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets. The team of Kate Scott, JJ Redick and Jacob Hardie will be on the call.

Wednesday's coverage begins at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN with NBA Countdown presented by DoorDash. Adam Lefkoe (filling in for Malika Andrews) will host the show alongside guest analyst and three-time NBA Champion Dwyane Wade, three-time NBA champion Danny Green, Austin Rivers & ESPN NBA insider Ramona Shelburne. Lefkoe and company will reunite following the Kings vs. Lakers game at 12:30 AM ET for NBA: After the Buzzer presented by Wendy's to summarize Wednesday's action.

Wednesday's ESPN doubleheader hits the air at 7:30 PM ET for a 2023 Eastern Conference Semifinals re-match. Tyrese Maxey and the Philadelphia 76ers match up with Jrue Holiday and the Boston Celtics. Teagan Brown, 2016 National Champion Kris Jenkins, CJ McCollum and reporter Isaiah Walker describe the action on ESPN.

The NBA Countdown pregame show opens up the night at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN. Sam Prince will host the program, joined by four-time NBA Champion Shaquille O'Neal, three-time Sixth Man of the Year award winner Jamal Crawford, six-time WNBA All-Star Skylar Diggins-Smith and ESPN NBA reporter Kendra Andrews. Prince, O'Neal, Crawford, Diggins-Smith & Andrews will also host NBA: After the Buzzer on ESPN at 1:00 AM ET following the Suns vs. Trail Blazers game.

Thursday's ESPN doubleheader starts at 8:00 PM ET when 2023 NBA Draft #2 pick Brandon Miller and the Charlotte Hornets duel with Kyle Kuzma and the Washington Wizards. Brian Anderson and Hall of Famer Reggie Miller will call the game. The 10:30 PM ET nightcap game has Bradley Beal and the Phoenix Suns visit Deandre Ayton and the Portland Trail Blazers. Dave Pasch, analyst Jim Jackson, and veteran reporter Lisa Salters report on the game from Portland.

On Friday, May 10, two preseason games will be split across two different networks with ABC getting the Heat vs. Spurs game (with NBA Countdown preceding the game) and ESPN2 getting the Warriors vs. Lakers game (with NBA: After the Buzzer following the game).

ABC's Friday night coverage begins with NBA Countdown presented by DoorDash at 7:30 PM ET with Malika Andrews handling the hosting duties, with Austin Rivers, Danny Green, Tristan Thompson and Ramona Shelburne. A primetime showdown will then follow at 8:00 PM ET when Bam Adebayo and the defending Summer Series Eastern Conference champions Miami Heat visit Devin Vassell and the San Antonio Spurs. Veteran play-by-play commentator Kevin Harlan details the game on play-by-play, with analyst Boogie Ellis and reporter Shalise Coleman.

Once the Heat-Spurs game ends, flip over to ESPN2 at 10:30 PM ET when Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors visit Rui Hachimura and the Los Angeles Lakers, with the NBA Finals team of Curtis Stockley, Jermaine Samuels and Justin Moore providing commentary. The trio will be joined by reporter Nikki Hodges for this Western Conference bout. The Warriors vs. Lakers game is a re-match of the 2023 Western Conference Semifinals. 

The NBA: After the Buzzer postgame show will immediately follow the Warriors vs. Lakers game, with Andrews, Rivers, Green, Thompson & Shelburne teaming up to host the program.

Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves compete against Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks on the Saturday, May 11 preseason edition of NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC. The game will tip off at 8:30 PM ET on ABC. David Moskowitz calls the play-by-play alongside Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown, with University of Georgia football defensive back Malaki Starks reporting from the sidelines.

NBA Countdown presented by DoorDash precedes the game at 8:00 PM ET on ABC with host Miles Johnson, analyst and Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton, analyst Damian Dunn, analyst Diamond Miller & ESPN NBA insider/reporter Chris Haynes. The group returns to recap the game (and Saturday's action in general) at 11:00 PM ET on ABC during the NBA: After the Buzzer presented by Wendy's postgame show.

ABC and ESPN will combine to broadcast four games on Sunday, May 12 (Mother's Day), to finish up the second week of the Summer Series preseason. The NBA Countdown presented by DoorDash show will have two shows with one airing at 1:00 PM ET on ABC prior to Grizzlies vs. Heat and Bulls vs. Nuggets and 7:00 PM ET on ESPN prior to Bucks vs. Lakers and Warriors vs. Kings.

ABC's Mother Day coverage starts off with NBA Countdown at 1:00 PM ET with Miles Johnson, Tyrese Haliburton, Damian Dunn, Diamond Miller & Chris Haynes hanging out in the studio. The group will come back with another edition of NBA Countdown at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN (like previously mentioned) and serve as the hosting team for the NBA: After the Buzzer postgame show at 1:00 AM ET on ESPN following the Warriors vs. Kings game.

ABC's Sunday game coverage tips off at 1:30 PM ET when Desmond Bane and the Memphis Grizzlies meet up with Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat. Grayson Singleton is on play-by-play duties, joined by Kris Jenkins and Justin Moore at the broadcast table. Michelle Kuc rounds out the broadcast team as the sideline reporter.

The doubleheader on ABC then continues at 4:00 PM ET as DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls visit Michael Porter Jr. and the defending Summer Series champion Denver Nuggets. Dane Richardson, Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner & reporter Susan Reutter will have the call from Denver.

Once primetime hits on Sunday evening, ESPN will then take over with additional NBA preseason coverage. ESPN's Mother Day preseason doubleheader will commence at 8:00 PM ET when new acquisition Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks take on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Jack Benjamin will provide commentary with analyst Jermaine Samuels and reporter Jorge Sedano

The 10:30 PM ET nightcap has a Western Conference Quarterfinal re-match as Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors battle Malik Monk and the Sacramento Kings. Play-by-play commentator Teagan Brown, two-time WNBA champion Breanna Stewart and reporter Nikki Hodges report the action from Sacramento.
