This week's NBA: Summer Series -- Full Court Press highlights include:
  • Regular Season Gets Underway: ESPN is set to televise 12 games on either ESPN or ABC during the first week of the 2025 regular season.
  • NBA Countdown Hits The Road on Tuesday & Wednesday: "NBA Countdown" (along with halftime & "NBA: After the Buzzer") goes on the road for the Celtics' Opening Night on Tuesday and for the Clippers' first game at Intuit Dome on Wednesday. 
  • The Defense Begins: The Celtics will start their title defense on Tuesday night with a championship banner raising ceremony prior to their opening game against the Knicks (8:00 PM ET, ESPN).
  • Los Angeles Premiere: The Timberwolves visit the Lakers as Los Angeles participates in their sixth Opening Night (Tuesday 10:30 PM ET, ESPN).
