The 2024 NBA: Summer Series on ESPN and ABC will continue this week with 18 live game broadcasts, including coverage of the first-ever In-Season Tournament (starting on Friday, May 31). This week will mark the second week of regular season play.

NBA Monday (Memorial Day special) - Monday, May 27
ESPN and ABC begin their coverage of Week 2 with a special Memorial Day tripleheader on Monday, May 27. Coverage begins at 5:00 PM (ET) on ESPN and ABC with the NBA Countdown presented by Target pregame show. Katie George will host the program, with analysts Chiney Ogwumike, 2021 NBA Champion and Celtics guard Jrue Holiday, WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark, & ESPN senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski. Monday's show will feature a tribute to the legendary Bill Walton, who passed away on Monday after battling cancer.

The live game coverage tripleheader tips off at 5:30 PM (ET) on ESPN and ABC, as Luka Dončić and the Dallas Mavericks visit Jaren Jackson Jr. and the Memphis Grizzlies in a Southwest Division matchup. Play-by-play commentator Brian Anderson will be joined by 2008 NBA champion Kendrick Perkins and reporter Jacob Hardie to provide commentary on the matchup. Coverage then continues at 8:00 PM (ET) on ESPN and ABC, when Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors take on Brandon Ingram and the New Orleans Pelicans in a early season Western Conference matchup. Kate Scott is joined by analysts Andraya Carter and JJ Redick for the game broadcast, with Taylor Rooks reporting.

The nightcap at 10:30 PM (ET) on ESPN and ABC sees Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic clash with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. ESPN NBA commentator Dave Pasch will handle the play-by-play, Cam Whitmore will handle the game analysis & Stephanie Ready reports from the sidelines.

NBA Tuesday - Tuesday, May 28
Week 2 coverage continues on Tuesday, May 28, with a doubleheader on ESPN. The NBA Countdown presented by Target pregame show starts the night's coverage off at 7:00 PM (ET). Joshua Counts serves as the studio host, alongside studio analysts Jayden Hardaway, Monica McNutt & Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas, with Dave McMenamin serving as the insider.

Tuesday's doubleheader starts at 7:30 PM (ET) when Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks visit Darius Garland and the Cleveland Cavaliers on ESPN. Kevin Harlan, 2008 NBA champion coach Doc Rivers & reporter Shalise Coleman will provide commentary. Following that game, at 10:00 PM (ET) on ESPN, 2023 NBA Draft #1 overall pick Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs take on Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns. Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame commentator Mike Breen, analyst Boogie Ellis and reporter Lisa Salters will call Spurs-Suns.

Following the Spurs vs. Suns game, NBA: After the Buzzer presented by Google featuring the team of Joshua Counts, Jayden Hardaway, Monica McNutt, Isiah Thomas & Dave McMenamin recap Tuesday's action, starting at 12:30 AM (ET) on ESPN.

NBA Wednesday - Wednesday, May 29
The Summer Series coverage for the week then continues on Wednesday, May 29, with another doubleheader on ESPN. Wednesday's coverage kicks off at 7:00 PM (ET) with a special one-hour edition of NBA Countdown presented by Target, as host Malika Andrews is flanked at the desk by three-time champion Danny Green, 2016 NBA champion Tristan Thompson, 11-year NBA veteran Austin Rivers and ESPN NBA insider Ramona Shelburne.

Wednesday's doubleheader on ESPN gets going at 8:00 PM (ET) when CJ McCollum and the New Orleans Pelicans match up with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder in a Western Conference battle. Former LSU standout and current Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese takes her talents from the court to the broadcast booth to provide game analysis for this game, alongside play-by-play commentator Teagan Brown and reporter Isaiah Walker.

Then, coverage shifts to Los Angeles for the second half of Wednesday's ESPN doubleheader at 10:30 PM (ET), as Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers take on Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers. Grayson Singleton, analyst and five-time NBA All-Star Jayson Tatum, and reporter Jorge Sedano describe the action from Los Angeles.

Following the Clippers vs. Lakers game, NBA: After the Buzzer presented by Google featuring the team of Malika Andrews, Danny Green, Tristian Thompson, Austin Rivers and Ramona Shelburne recap Wednesday's action, starting at 1:00 AM (ET) on ESPN.

NBA Thursday - Thursday, May 30
On the evening of Thursday, May 30, Week 2 regular season coverage marches on with a Thursday night doubleheader on ESPN. The night's action begins with the NBA Countdown presented by Target pregame show at 7:00 PM (ET) on ESPN, with Sam Prince, Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal, three-time Sixth Man of the Year award winner Jamal Crawford, six-time WNBA All-Star Skylar Diggins-Smith & insider Kendra Andrews all participating on the show.

Thursday's doubleheader on ESPN begins in New Orleans at 8:00 PM (ET) where Jose Alvarado and the New Orleans Pelicans host Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons. Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer play-by-play voice Mike Breen, analyst Jim Jackson & reporter Cassidy Hubbarth will have the call. Then, at 10:30 PM (ET), Jalen Suggs and the Orlando Magic visit Collin Sexton and the Utah Jazz. Rising star in the broadcasting industry John Fanta conducts play-by-play commentary alongside analyst and Hall of Famer Reggie Miller and reporter Khari Thomas.

Following the Magic vs. Jazz game, NBA: After the Buzzer presented by Google featuring the team of Sam Prince, Shaquille O'Neal, Jamal Crawford, Skylar Diggins-Smith & Kendra Andrews recap Thursday's action, starting at 1:00 AM (ET) on ESPN.

NBA Friday (In-Season Tournament) - Friday, May 31
The afternoon and evening sessions of Friday, May 31 has a six-game lineup across ABC and ESPN as the first-ever In-Season Tournament gets underway with the first of seven "Group Play" nights over the next month or so. Friday's coverage is also notable because this is the first time regional coverage will be used for any Summer Series games since the 2006 season.

NBA Countdown presented by Target opens the day's coverage at 3:00 PM (ET) on ABC, with longtime ESPN and Pac-12 Networks commentator Roxy Bernstein filling in for regular host Malika Andrews (who will be on assignment that night) hosting alongside Austin Rivers, Danny GreenTristian Thompson and Ramona Shelburne. The group will then return for a second NBA Countdown broadcast later that evening on ESPN, starting at 7:00 PM (ET).

Friday's In-Season Tournament afternoon session will take place at 3:30 PM (ET) on ABC, with regional coverage slated for the network. Most stations across the country will see Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors take on Jalen Williams and the Oklahoma City Thunder in a West Group C matchup, with Grayson Singleton, Jayson Tatum, Doris Burke and Michelle Kuc on the call. Other stations across the country will see Kyle Kuzma and the Washington Wizards travel to Miami to play Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in a East Group B matchup, with Teagan Brown, Candace Parker and Isaiah Walker providing commentary.

Then, the network changes to ESPN for the remaining two windows of Friday's In-Season Tournament action. At 7:30 PM (ET), ESPN will have regional coverage of two In-Season Tournament games. Most folks will watch Josh Hart and the New York Knicks battle Khris Middleton and the Milwaukee Bucks featuring two teams from East Group B. David Moskowitz provides commentary alongside analysts Kris Jenkins and Breanna Stewart and reporter Susan Reutter. Other people will observe Darius Garland and the Cleveland Cavaliers facing off with Myles Turner and the Indiana Pacers in a East Group A showdown, with Dane Richardson, CJ McCollum and Jorge Sedano providing commentary.

And then finally, the tripleheader winds down with the nightcap at 10:00 PM (ET) on ESPN. In the "lead" game, Nikola Jokić and the defending Summer Series champion Denver Nuggets welcome Luka Dončić and the Dallas Mavericks to town in a West Group B matchup. The NBA Finals team of Curtis Stockley, Jermaine Samuels and Justin Moore will be on the call, with Michelle Kuc reporting. Other viewers will watch Desmond Bane and the Memphis Grizzlies visit Shaedon Sharpe and the Portland Trail Blazers for a game that has two teams from West Group A. Bob Wischusen is on the call with 12-time All-Star Chris Paul and reporter Derryl Barnes.

Following the 10:00 PM (ET) regional coverage on Friday night, NBA: After the Buzzer presented by Google featuring the team of Roxy Bernstein, Austin Rivers, Danny Green, Tristian Thompson & Ramona Shelburne, will recap Friday's action, starting at 12:30 AM (ET) on ESPN.

NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC - Saturday, June 1
On Saturday, June 1, ABC presents this week's edition of NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC. Coverage begins at 8:00 PM (ET) on ABC, with NBA Countdown presented by Target, a program that is hosted by Miles Johnson, analyst and two-time All-Star Tyrese Haliburton, analyst Damian Dunn, analyst Diamond Miller and insider Chris Haynes. ESPN NBA studio and game analyst JJ Redick joins the cast for this weekend's shows.

This week's NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC presented by Dunkin' game is in Philadelphia where Kelly Oubre Jr. and the Philadelphia 76ers host Bradley Beal and the Phoenix Suns, with coverage of the game starting at 8:30 PM (ET). Veteran commentator Adam Amin will call the play-by-play, alongside analysts Rosalyn Gold-Onwude and Julianne Viani-Braen, with longtime Summer Series commentator Treye Whitfield reporting from the sidelines.

Following the Suns vs. 76ers game, NBA: After the Buzzer presented by Google featuring the team of Miles Johnson, JJ Redick, Tyrese Haliburton, Damian Dunn, Diamond Miller & Chris Haynes will recap Saturday's action, starting at 11:00 PM (ET) on ABC.

ABC Sunday Showcase - Sunday, June 2
The week concludes with an ABC Sunday Showcase presented by Reese's doubleheader on Sunday, June 2. The day's action starts off with NBA Countdown presented by Target at 12:30 PM (ET) on ABC, with Miles Johnson, Tyrese Haliburton, Damian Dunn, Diamond Miller & Chris Haynes presenting the program.

Sunday's ABC doubleheader begins in San Antonio as Scottie Barnes and the Toronto Raptors face off with Victor Wembanyama, Devin Vassell and the San Antonio Spurs at 1:00 PM (ET). Curtis Stockley, Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Vince Carter and Susan Reutter will provide commentary.
