- The 2026 NBA: Summer Series preseason resumes this week with 13 live games in five nights (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday).

The countdown to the 2026 regular season has begun! We’re only 16 days away from the start of the 50th NBA Summer Series season. In the meantime, preseason games are still ongoing, with 13 live games available nationwide this week, starting with Monday’s tripleheader on Peacock and NBCSN.
On Monday, June 1, at 7:00 PM ET, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks (0-0 preseason) will face Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat (0-1 preseason) in the opening game of this week’s nationally televised preseason schedule, broadcast on Peacock and NBCSN. NBC Sports’ Jason Benetti (play-by-play), five-time NBA All-Star Brad Daugherty (analyst), Mike Fratello (analyst), Chris Mannix (reporter) & Cayleigh Griffin (reporter) will call Bucks-Heat from Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
Monday’s NBA on NBC tripleheader continues from Toyota Center in Houston as four-time scoring champion Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets host rising star Jalen Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, June 1, at 8:00 PM ET, exclusively on Peacock. NBC Sports’ Mark Followill provides commentary for Hawks-Rockets, alongside 2008 NBA Champion Brian Scalabrine (analyst) & John Fanta (reporter).
The preseason tripleheader on Peacock ends in Fort Worth, Texas, as Jalen Williams and the reigning NBA Summer Series champion Oklahoma City Thunder kick off their preseason schedule against Klay Thompson and the newly reconfigured Dallas Mavericks at Dickies Arena on Monday, June 1, at 9:30 PM ET, on Peacock and NBCSN. Play-by-play announcer Brandon Gaudin will call Thunder-Mavericks with five-time NBA champion Derek Fisher and two-time WNBA champion Renee Montgomery, with reporters Grant Liffmann and Caroline Pineda contributing throughout the game.
Live coverage for Monday’s games begins at 6:00 PM ET on Peacock and NBCSN with NBA Showtime, presented by Wingstop. NBC Sports’ Ahmed Fareed will host the show with 2016 National Champion Kris Jenkins, four-time champion Andre Iguodala, NBA veteran Jalen Rose, & Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Chris Webber. Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers open up their preseason against Josh Giddey and the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday, June 2, at 7:00 PM ET on Peacock. Tuesday’s Bulls-Cavaliers broadcast team on Peacock features play-by-play commentator Noah Eagle, analyst and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Reggie Miller & reporter Zora Stephenson.
Live coverage begins on Tuesday at 6:30 PM ET on Peacock with NBA Showtime, hosted by Ahmed Fareed and sponsored by Wingstop, featuring analysts Robbie Hummel and Austin Rivers. After the Bulls-Cavaliers game concludes, Fareed, Hummel, and Rivers will return for postgame coverage on NBA Showtime, starting at 9:30 PM ET on Peacock.
A Wednesday tripleheader on ESPN begins in Memphis, as Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics participate in their preseason opener against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, June 3, at 5:30 PM ET. 76ers rookie VJ Edgecombe is the main attraction as he and the Philadelphia 76ers go into a preseason duel against Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic on Friday, June 5, at 7:30 PM ET on ESPN & ESPN App. The No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft has returned stateside after his two preseason games over in Abu Dhabi last week. Central Division rivals meet on this preseason edition of “NBA Sunday Showcase presented by Popeyes” as Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks tangle with Matas Buzelis and the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, June 7, at 1:00 PM ET on ABC & ESPN App. Lathan Dunbar-Keys, a current student at Hampton University, makes his play-by-play debut for this game with analyst Stephanie White and reporter Charmaine Malone.
