NBC Sports Group announced on Tuesday morning their NHL national TV schedule for the forthcoming 2019-20 NHL season. NBCSN will be the home at least 97 regular-season NHL contests during the course of the upcoming season.

NBCSN's 97-game total includes the Opening Night doubleheader of Capitals @ Blues and Sharks @ Golden Knights on Wednesday, October 2nd, 38 "Wednesday Night Hockey" contests & 22 doubleheaders. In addition, NBC Sports has made the decision to leave open most of the final week of NHL's regular season on NBCSN in order to bring in some important games down the stretch.

"Wednesday Night Hockey" returns for a second season this year with the same established focus on young stars and veteran talent. Plus, a diverse schedule to top it all off. Many "Wednesday Night Hockey" games, just like last season, will have earlier start times (either 7 p.m. ET or 7:30 p.m. ET). In most cases, the Eastern Conference teams will have the first half of the doubleheader followed by an all Western Conference matchup or a matchup with at least one Western Conference team in the second half of the doubleheader. Notable games on Wednesday Night Hockey include for this season: Avalanche @ Penguins and Flyers @ Oilers (Oct. 16), Blues @ Penguins (Dec. 4), Predators @ Capitals and Lightning @ Kings (Jan. 29), Rangers @ Blackhawks (Feb. 19) & Sabres @ Avalanche and Penguins @ Kings (Feb. 26).

In addition, NBCSN will have many more pertinent games of interest to the hardcore and casual hockey fans alike. Those games include: Devils at Rangers on Oct. 17; 2019 Stanley Cup Final re-match (Blues at Bruins) & 2019 NHL Heritage Classic (Flames vs. Jets from Regina, Sask.) on Oct. 26; Live coverage of the 2019 NHL Global Series between Tampa Bay and Buffalo in Stockholm, Sweden on. Nov 8; Sabres at Maple Leafs on Dec. 17; Oilers at Maple Leafs on Jan. 6; P.K. Subban will face his former team as the Devils host the Predators on Jan. 30; Lightning at Blue Jackets (this will be quite fun because remember Columbus swept Tampa Bay last year in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs) on Feb.10; Maple Leafs at Penguins on Feb. 18.

Please read on for the complete 2019-20 NHL on NBCSN schedule. Announcer for the NBCSN games will be released once I am able to get them. The NBC schedule will be attached via a link, so you can access that as well.

Saturdays Start on FOX, baby! 😤 💪

Top Rivalries Including Ohio State-Michigan and Oklahoma-Texas Returns to FOX This Year

This fall, start off your college football Saturday with FOX Sports! Kicking off at 11:00 AM ET each Saturday afternoon on the FOX broadcast network with a brand new pregame show led by host Rob Stone - joined by analysts Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn, Urban Meyer and Reggie Bush - getting you ready for the network's biggest game of the day at 12:00 PM ET

FOX Sports' 2019 college football lineup includes top games from the Big Ten, Big 12 and Pac-12 conferences. This slate is highlighted by some of the college football lore's most meaningful showdowns: Ohio State at Michigan & Oklahoma vs. Texas in the Red River Showdown, The Big Ten Championship Game and much more! Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt and Jenny Taft will rehash their roles as FOX's lead college football announcing team again this year.

Per FOX Sports, “We’re excited for college football fans around the country to start their Saturdays with us,” said Brad Zager, FOX Sports Executive Vice President, Production & Operations. “Our new pregame show, featuring some of the best to play and coach the game over the last 15 years, will set the tone leading into our top game each week at Noon ET. Fans no longer have to sit around waiting for primetime to watch big matchups – we’re going to kick things off with a bang each and every week.”

After the record setting for FOX's most-watched regular season college football game with 13.2 million viewers last November, the sport's most historic rivalry returns to the FOX broadcast network as Ohio State heads to the Big House on Saturday, November 30th to face Michigan at 12:00 PM ET. Also highlighting the network's slate, the Red River Showdown returns to FOX for the second straight year, Saturday, October 12th at 12:00 PM ET. Last year's game draw 5.6 million viewers on FOX, the most in this rivalry since 2011.
