FS1 is ready to begin 6th MLB season
FS1 forms one-half of FOX's MLB duo alongside the MLB broadcast network
FS1 coverage will now be on Saturdays (almost exclusively)
FS1 to Begin Coverage on Saturday, March 30th: Braves at Phillies (4 p.m., ET) and Giants at Padres (8:30 p.m., ET)
Diverse Schedule: FS1 to begin featuring more teams like the White Sox, Athletics, Phillies & Mets
Flex Scheduling: FS1 will have the ability to flex games in September
FS1, the home of Major League Baseball game action since its premiere back in 2014, is very excited to announce that they will be back for another season that is not too far away. FS1 will feature regular-season and postseason game telecasts and the MLB Whiparound studio show weeknights.
FS1 will begin to increase their showings of certain teams like the Oakland Athletics, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets, and the Chicago White Sox in order to bring those teams into the same playing field that other squads like the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox are in.
You will probably pick up real quick that FS1 has dropped most of their weeknight games. This is a result of a cost-cutting move as FOX tries to re-organize for the future (thus FS1 is involved this, too!).
FS1 will feed on a whole ecosystem of MLB games starting on the afternoon of Saturday, March 30th. Josh Donaldson and the Atlanta Braves will visit the City of Brotherly Love to take on Andrew McCutchen and the Philadelphia Phillies at 4:00 PM ET. Later that night, Pablo Sandoval and the San Francisco Giants take on Manny Machado and the San Diego Padres at 8:30 PM ET.
Keep in mind, starting this year, FS1 will intentionally leave the two last Saturdays in September (21st and 28th) open in order to bring in games that have postseason significance.
Keep in mind, starting this year, FS1 will intentionally leave the two last Saturdays in September (21st and 28th) open in order to bring in games that have postseason significance.
In addition, FS1 will be the home to the American League Division Series and the American League Championship Series once the postseason spawns in October.
FS1 will be your home for up to 40 regular-season games. Are you ready for some baseball?
Read on for a full breakdown of the 2019 MLB on FS1 schedule. Announcer assignments will be updated during the duration of the season.

I’m assuming the Pirates vs Giants and Athletics games won’t be flexed am I right thanks?
ReplyDeleteCorrect. Those two games that you mentioned (San Francisco-Pittsburgh on 4/13 and Oakland-Pittsburgh on 5/4), Will, are safe. Besides FOX doesn't flex games out during the first half of the season.
DeleteThanks
DeleteAnd I'm assuming this means June 1st is the same Pirates Brewers

Who's calling tomorrow's Pirates vs. Giants game?
ReplyDeletehttps://www.stltoday.com/sports/baseball/professional/buck-now-to-end-hiatus-by-calling-cards-cubs-game/article_48c4349d-5e51-5ced-8691-d8331019a554.html
ReplyDeleteBuck, Smoltz, Rosenthal for STL/CHC tomorrow. Buck will have STL/CHC in Chicago on June 8 for FOX as well. Keep in mind, Buck was slated to call ATL/PHI in late March, but had to call out due to one of his sons having a medical issue.
You know what's a strange occurrence you've got the Pirates 2 weeks in a row tomorrow night on Fox against the Dodgers and than June 1st on FS1 against the Brewers
ReplyDeleteYeah true.
DeleteNice mlb/fs1 logo
ReplyDeletebos/nyy on 8/3 isn't going to happen after tonight's game was postponed for this date for a day/night doubleheader
Thanks. And thank you for bringing that second point to my attention.
DeleteIf flexed put on mariners vs astros @ 1 pm PT
DeleteWho's doing Pirates vs. Brewers tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteMIL-PIT: Brian Anderson, Dan Plesac (filling in for regular analyst Bill Schroeder this weekend), Sophia Minnaert (a FS Wisconsin lift, no "regular" FOX Sports talent)
Delete* Saturday, July 13th
ReplyDelete. Chicago White Sox at Oakland Athletics (FS1) 4:00 PM ET - Justin Kutcher and Eric Karros
Whos doing astros @ cardinals on july 27th?
ReplyDeleteSo you guys aren't flexing Red Sox at Yankees 8-3 because it has announcers in?
ReplyDeleteFS1 is basically married to this game (Red Sox at Yankees) at 1 p.m. (ET) next Saturday. They have pregame at 12:30 p.m. (ET), postgame from 4 p.m. (ET) to 5 p.m. (ET), then some drag racing, prior to Angels-Indians at 7 p.m. (ET) later that same night.
DeleteWho doing angels-indians?
DeleteThanks
DeleteAnd also what will be in between 8-10 when you have a 4P.M and an 8:30
DeleteLAA/CLE: Justin Kutcher, Tom Verducci
